1976-1980 Secondary Grammar School in Stará Ľubovňa, Slovakia
1980-1985 Faculty of Natural Sciences, Šafárik's University Košice, specialization Mathematics and Computer Science,
1985-1989 doctoral study at Mathematical Institute of Slovak Academy of Sciences  Košice, supervisor prof.. J. Jakubík, PhD thesis defended in  1990,
2005          habilitation in Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science, Comenius University  Bratislava.

Employment:
1989-1996 research fellow, Mathematical Institute, Slovak Academy of  Sciences, Košice,
1996-2004  senior research fellow, Mathematical Institute,Slovak Academy of Sciences, Košice,
2004-2006 lecturer, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Šafárik's University Košice,
from 2006  associate professor, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Šafárik's University Košice.
